Whiteout in Wisconsin

Well, the snow slowed as day finally dawned. Basically, everthing is closed. Coaches were probably frustrated and age-groups swimmers were no doubt delighted. Garrett has been worried that our early-season snowfalls in Wisconsin would be gone by the time he got up here for a holiday visit. Well, I don't think it's going to be a problem. More is on the way.

That is quite a bit of snow you have there! In the Chicago suburbs of Illinois all students have a snow day, which in a sense is an extra day added to winter break considering that winter break was to start after school today.

I was a little dismayed last year that it didn't snow much during early to mid-December, but it's been so snowy so far and, well, our snow plow man is quite happy he has business. :)

That is beautiful...I'm in Southeast Missouri and all we get is nasty ice storms. Have a wonderful holiday!

I don't have a garage anymore - so if it snows as much as it did last year in South Jersey - about an inch the ENTIRE winter - I'll be happy!

Wow!! That's alot of snow. Here in Missouri we have had some snow but it's more ice than anything else. It's raining and everything though, it's real nasty. Ya, I can bet there is no practice either. You all be safe in this weather. Take care and God Bless!

Mr. Mark would it be ok for me to print out the picture of the trees? I would love to put it in a frame here at home.

I think I may have to visit Wisconsin to see that snow. I am dying for it to snow here in KY, but sadly the weather is not calling for any and I love the snow.

Print it out? Sure, but it's only from my Treo. It's Saturday night and guess what...It's snowing in Wisconsin. They say 4-6 tonight. Really light and fluffy.

Oh well, both kids are home and the larder is stocked.
