Bedtime Snack

I'm just getting ready for the week. I needed a high carb snack to fuel my body while I sleep and get rest before morning practice. This is what I ate, Kashi, Go Lean Cereal. Eating higher carb content at night allows my body to use the food as energy. If I ate protein at night my body wouldn't break it down and use it for energy...it would store it as fat. I don't want that:P

I've got to be honest with you... Having had Kashi Go Lean before, I'd much rather eat Lucky Charms.

At my house our cereal cabinet is FULL of kashi cereal. My mom and I eat all kinds! When my cousin came over for a weekend she went home and told her mom "It was fun at the Powell's house... but their cereal was crappy."

Interesting tidbit ...you do learn something new everyday. Have you tried the Pumpkin Spice Granola Bars....their pure heaven!
